About Company:
LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch is a 34-acre, 300,000 square foot Main Street style mixed-use development located on the western edge of metropolitan Houston in Katy, TX on the Grand Parkway three miles south of Interstate 10 with prominent freeway visibility.

General Description:
Position assists the Marketing Department at LaCenterra with events, event promotion, marketing and daily office duties. Able to work 2-4 days (partial or full) a week, plus some evenings and weekends for special events is required. The internship is not paid however, if you work an event there is an hourly fee. Can receive college credit.

Job Description:
Daily tasks include;but not limited to:
Assist Marketing Director and Marketing Assistant as needed with:
• Event Promotion
• Local grassroots for events including; flyering, researching and contacting potential local contacts for event promotion to create word of mouth buzz for events
• Assisting with event coordination with vendors and event set-up, tear down and working event
• Helping with office duties such as: promotional mailings, event/grassroots distribution lists, organizing marketing materials, etc.
• Excellent overall communication (phone, email, interpersonal, etc.)
• Flexible, resourceful and able to thrive in a fast-paced and growing environment
• Detail-oriented, creative and organized
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work some nights and weekends
• Previous event/marketing experience a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• College student majoring in Marketing or Communication preferred
• Can receive college credit
• Must have reliable transportation
